    Prof. Alice M. Grimm, from the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil, participated in the European Geosciences Union General Assembly 2018 (EGU 2018) held in Vienna, Austria, 8–13 April 2018. She delivered an oral presentation titled "Subseasonal prediction of active and break phases of the South American monsoon and the influence of the MJO", by Alice M. Grimm, L. Hakoyama, L.      At the same event, the Cambridge University Press displayed for the first time the book "Climate Change and Cities" (ISBN 978-1-316-60333-8), in which Prof. Alice Grimm is one of the coordinating lead authors of the second chapter: Urban Climate Science.
